Live Oak, Audubon Park

This pen and sepia ink watercolor was done as a preliminary sketch for a larger graphite drawing I did of this spectacular live oak tree in Audubon Park, one of the oldest live oaks in the city. I am completely smitten by our live oak trees and have undertaken a large series of drawings of all my favorite ones in City Park and Audubon Park. Should keep me busy for a while!
